Our vines

The Parcel

The majority of our terroirs are located in Tharoiseau, in the area known as "Champ Cervin" . The soils are clayey and deep, very well irrigated, and on the upper slopes the limestone is outcropping.

"En Merlutte" is a plot that we have been working since 2021. It is a more draining, sandier terroir with plenty of sun exposure.

"La Chevallière" , just above the estate, is a recently planted plot whose fruits will have to wait a few years to enjoy!

Liard is a lovely plot of Pinot Noirs in the commune of Asquins and Vaux Boutons is patiently waiting to be planted!

A commitment to organic farming

Committed to organic since 2018 and certified since 2021, organic is obvious to us, but in no way a dogma.

Northern Burgundy, with its year-round rainfall, offers a challenging climate for organic viticulture. Humidity encourages certain diseases, such as mildew, and requires constant vigilance .

Here, going organic means accepting challenges, learning from each season and savoring each harvest as the greatest reward .

Eco-grazing

Since winter 2024, from November to March, we have been leading a flock of sheep in our vineyards:

  • The sheep mow the grass and thus help to maintain a satisfactory grass height when spring arrives.

  • This saves us from having to plough in April, when the risk of frost is very high.

  • Finally, sheep droppings enrich our soils!

Since 2025, it is our own flock that goes into the vineyards: around twenty Wallachian sheep led by Cédric!
